Makes: 400g
Ingredients:
- 400g Chestnuts
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200°C Fan/Gas Mark 7.
- Slice chestnuts with serrated knife, sideways, through shell and inner skin.
- In medium saucepan; Place chestnuts in cold water. Bring to an obvious boil. Immediately transfer to roasting tray, split side up.
- Roast for about 20 mins.
- Remove from oven, cover with clean tea towel. Sit for 10 mins.
- Crack open, peel and serve.
