Ingredients:
- 20g dark choc chips (70%+ cocoa)
- 30g Bournville powder
- 15g cornflour
- 75g golden caster sugar
- 300ml whole milk (½ semi, ½ Elmlea)
- pinch salt
Method:
- In small saucepan; Combine sifted Bournville and cornflour with hand whisk.
- Gradually whisk in cold milk then sugar.
- Bring to boil over low-medium heat until it starts to thicken.
- Whisk in choc chips, off heat, until melted.
- Add more milk (or alcohol) if desired.
- Serve with whipped/squirty cream.
Tip: Serve in small-medium sized mugs.
Tip: Dip rim of mug into Nutella, then cocoa/chopped chocolate/chopped hazelnuts as decoration.
Tip: Try adding ½ tsp vanilla, almond or orange essence (or 1/4 tsp extract), as real fruit juice may curdle.
