Ingredients:

  • 130g chilled butter, diced.  976
  • 190g self-raising flour.  637
  • 75g ground almonds/hazelnuts.  481/518
  • 50g golden caster sugar.  200
  • 60g rolled oats.  218

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C Fan/Gas Mark 5.
  2. In large mixing bowl; Rub butter, flour, ground nuts, sugar to crumbs.
  3. Stir in oats.
  4. Scatter on top of filling/tart base, (using a 9 or 10" dish).
  5. Bake for 40-45 mins until golden.
