Ingredients:

  • 210g plain flour
  • 80g icing sugar
  • 50g corn flour
  • 230g unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence (or 1.½ tsp extract)

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C Fan/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Line x2 large baking trays.
  3. In large mixing bowl; Whisk butter and icing sugar for 4-5 mins.
  4. Add vanilla, mix.
  5. Add corn flour and ½ plain flour, mix well.
  6. Fold in remaining flour until smooth.
  7. Pipe in roses (2 revolutions) using large star nozzle.
  8. Bake for 14-16 mins.
