Ingredients:
- 60g butter. 451
- 60g plain flour. 205
- 600ml milk. 30
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 100g grated cheese (cheddar). 415
Method:
- In medium saucepan; Melt butter over medium-low heat.
- Whisk in flour. Whisk in milk gradually, stirring continuously. Bring to simmer and cook for 3-4 mins.
- Melt in cheese. Stirring continuously. Should be a smooth, thickened sauce.
- Remove from heat. Season.
