Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp veg oil. 124
- 8 rashers bacon, chopped. 456
- 1 large carrot (200g), sliced. 82
- 3 celery stalks, sliced. 10
- 1 medium onion, sliced. 75
- 1 400g tin chopped tomatoes. 100
- 2000ml Chicken Stock (2 Knorr stock pots). 120
- 1 tsp rosemary
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 tsp garlic purée
- ½ head cabbage, sliced. 75
- ½ head broccoli, sliced. 75
- 75g dried macaroni. 206
- 1 chicken breast, whole (optional). 250
- 100g green beans, 1" pieces. 30
- 1 400g tin butter beans, drained. 252
- 50g frozen peas. 40
Method:
- In stew pot; Fry rosemary and bacon until crispy.
- Add carrots, celery, onion, pepper, garlic, tomatoes and stock. Poach chicken. Simmer covered for 20 mins.
- Remove chicken. Slice. Set aside.
- Add cabbage and broccoli stalks, green beans, macaroni. Simmer for 15 mins.
- Add broccoli florets, butter beans, peas and chicken. Simmer for 5 mins.
